Mission of Kate's Club: To empower children and teens facing life after the death of someone close to them.

Vision of Kate's Club: A world where it is okay to grieve.

Kate's Club is looking for Buddy Volunteers to work directly with our grieving members. Buddy Volunteer responsibilities may include monitoring and supervising children, facilitating activities, offering emotional support and being a positive role model. Programs include many different experiential activities to help kids learn healthy coping strategies to help them manage the intense feelings surrounding their loss. Volunteers have to be 21 years old.

Orientation & onboarding process includes a completed application, two references, a background screen, and New Volunteer Orientation. The Director of Clubhouse & Volunteer Services will email you details.
