Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado provides free age-appropriate educational programs in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to local youth. For our one-day "JA In A Day" programs, volunteers deliver the JA program to a classroom in one day. JA provides all curriculum material and teaching guides. Minimum age to volunteer is 16. To sign up, email Jean Jie at jean.jie@ja.org. We currently have volunteer needs for the following schools and grade levels:
Choose a day! Opportunity lasts from approximately 7:45am-1:30pm for each date.
- Friday, March 22nd - Otero Elementary School (K-5th)
- Monday, April 22nd - Wildflower Elementary School (K-5th)
- Friday, May 3rd - Scott Elementary School (3rd grade only)
- Monday, May 6th - Roosevelt Charter Academy (K-5th)

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and help strengthen their communities.
