Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado provides free age-appropriate educational programs in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to local youth. We help the volunteer arrange a schedule with the classroom teacher to deliver the JA program over the course of several weeks (5 sessions lasting 30-45 minutes each session). JA provides all curriculum material and teaching guides. Minimum age to volunteer is 16. To sign up, email Jean Jie at jean.jie@ja.org. We currently have volunteer needs for the following schools and grade levels:


* Legacy Peak Elementary: (2 classes available) JA Our City and JA More Than Money (3rd grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - February start
* Eagleside Elementary: (3 classes available) JA More Than Money (4th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - February start
* Scott Elementary: (1 class available) JA Our Region (4th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - February start
* Manitou Springs Elementary: (1 class available) JA Our Region (4th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - February start
* Mountainside Elementary: (3 classes available) JA Our City (3rd grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - March start
* Jackson Elementary: (2 classes available) JA Our City (3rd grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - March start
* Fremont Elementary: (4 classes available) JA More Than Money (5th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - March start
* Chipeta Elementary: (3 classes available) JA Our Region (4th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - March or May start
* Keller Elementary: (1 class available) JA Our Nation (5th grade) 5 sessions, 45 minutes each - April start
* Scott Elementary: (1 class available) JA Ourselves (Kinder) 5 sessions, 30 minutes each - April start
* Carmel Community School: (1 class) JA Excellence Through Ethics (8th grade) 1 session, 45 minutes - May 14th @ 2:45pm
