Description
Volunteers arrange for emergency assistance for disaster clients as well as Red Cross workers to meet individual needs as directed by ARC National protocols. Work may be done in the Chapter office, at the scene of a DAT call, in a Mass Care shelter or at a RC Service Center. A nurse is on-call 24 hrs a day to assist clients of a disaster with medication refills and replacement of medical equipment lost in the disaster. Every Red Cross shelter is required to be staffed with a nurse. This job requires a current AZ R.N. or L.P.N. license or state or national cerificate as EMT or Paramedic.
