The Refugee Youth Mentoring Program pairs an adult with a Refugee student for a year-long, one on one relationship. The mentor acts as an extra support as students acclimate to the U.S. and American education system.

This internship entails helping support the program supervisors with the tasks listed below:

A Self-starter, well-organized, and a great teammate, willing to take ownership of responsibilities, and possess a high level of positive energy and drive.

  • Performing a variety of assignments designed to support the youth teams at Catholic Charities Atlanta like developing fun summer activities to keep the youth engaged, creating content calendars, supporting onboarding for the next grant year, and assisting with community engagement events, and general administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent Organization and time management skills.
  • Experience working with English Language Learners or newly arrived populations
  • Ability to follow directions and manage specific tasks to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:
*High school
*18 and over
*Time commitment: at least one semester(if in school)
