Become an AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Volunteer (must be 55+) and serve with Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital

Title: Radiology Liaison
Department: Ultrasound/Interventional radiology

Service Summary: Partners radiology department support staff, nurses, and techs to help better educate patients in the waiting room about delays and possible wait times.
Duties:
Round between back area and waiting room to get a pulse on who may be running behind and best use the patient list to inform those in the waiting room of realistic times and set expectations.

-Ability to follow directions and take supervision
-Ability to be on feet for an extended period

Shifts: Three-hour shifts between 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday.
Training: Training will be done by TBD after the completion of onboarding by volunteer department including hospital orientation and Health Stream modules.

Note:
Training: Training will be done by the Patient Experience Operations Manager and further direction will be given by nurse director or charge nurse on the floor after the onboarding process is complete including hospital orientation and Health Stream modules.

To Qualify:

• Complete and pass a CORI Check
• 55 +Years or older
