Minimum 4 hour commitment to relieve the live in superivisory staff 'house mother' for her daily hours off or a shift on her days off.

This position requires interaction and some transportation of pregnant teens. It is also necessary to be finger printed and have a back ground check as we are a licensed foster facility.

One day a week or one day every other week.

Providing residential shelter for pregnant young women 14-22 who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless as a result of their pregnancy. Assisting with education, counseling, job placement, pre-natal care, and life skills.

Description

Living Grace Home is a residential home for pregnant young women. We provide shelter with 24/7 supervision. Education support, pre-natal support, job skills and life skills for women from 14-22.

Living Grace Home has beds for six pregnant teens. They come at various stages of pregnancy and may stay for two months after the birth of their baby. During their stay they are provided with access and assistance in finishing their education, getting the necessary pre-natal care, and assessing their needs for housing, job placement, and parenting skills.

Classes are offered both on site and in conjunction with other local non-profits. We also partner with local medical facilities to care for the health of both mother and child.
