Interact with older adults in senior center environment. Work alongside professional staff as part of the team. Answer the telephone and direct incoming calls as needed. Answer/record voice mail messages. Assist visitors with information and directions. Some computer work required. Assist staff with various office-related tasks, such as copying, collating, and data entry. Our current need is for Mondays 1-5, Wednesdays 9-1, Wednesdays 1-5

The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston Salem is an interfaith ministry that supports and promotes successful aging through educational, service, support and volunteer opportunities for older adults.
Description
The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston Salem recruits volunteers who provide medical and grocery transportation, minor home repairs, as well as home visitation and respite care through our Faith in Action Program. Our senior center provides opportunities to participate in activites, fellowship and educational programs.
