Barnabas Ministries and Horseplay Equestrian work together to provide opportunities for high risk youth to heal through interaction with horses. Group and one on one activities promote healthy growth and development in high-risk youth.
Christian men and women are needed to volunteer to serve as mentors to the youth and to teach them basic equestrian skills. Other volunteer opportunities include farm maintenance and regular chores, creating crafts and other activities for youth and families, and being on-call to help with large groups.

Barnabas Ministries is a Christian organization dedicated to meeting the needs of high risk youth and their families in Ottawa, Allegan, and Barry counties (MI) in a variety of ways. Some of those ways include a pen pal program, mentor program, shelter initiative, family mediation, resource referals, and many more.
