We need volunteers to help us put on a 1 day Scottish Festival near Jacksonville Florida and promote our festival thru community activities such as parades and other volunteer work. The festival is held every year on the last Saturday of February at the Clay County Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs.
We need:
1.Volunteers who may only want to devote a few hours.
2.Persons interested in joining the committee year round to spend a couple of hours a month planning the festival. No experience needed. Life-long friendships available.
3.People who want to meet new friends and do fun stuff, like be in parades and wear kilts. ages 13-100, Families, teams, and groups of employees.

The purpose of the Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival is to proudly display Scottish History, Athletics, Culture, Heritage, and Traditions. To aid students by providing scholarships for the study of Scottish arts.
Description
Scottish Festival: Featuring Highland Dance, Harp, Fiddle, Bagpipe Bands and Athletic Competitions; Scottish dog breed rescue groups; Scottish athletics for children and celtic entertainment groups.
