ORGANIZATION: Science Heads Inc.

We are a non-profit organization that supports STEM education in local schools and seeks to raise science literacy in our communities.

Science Heads Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports STEM education and works to raise science literacy, is seeking volunteers for its new Tulsa Oklahoma chapter.

If you have an interest in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and/or math) and love sharing your knowledge with both kids and adults - you could be just the person needed.

Science Heads Inc. offers many programs to the communities it serves including:

  • Astronomy and Science Night Events at schools and librarties
  • A Mobile Observatory and telescopes for day time and night time viewing
  • Student science experiments and activities

Description

Objectives and Purpose:

  1. To foster and support science, technology, engineering, arts and math education (STEAM) in public and private schools.
  2. To provide STEAM related equipment and materials to informal educational groups, K-12 schools, colleges and universities for instructional use.
  3. To provide services to enhance and support science education.
  4. To sponsor events to raise awareness of the importance of science education.
