Volunteering within the Mission Graduates Organization in our Impact Gen Program! Impact Gen is a 10-week career readiness program for current college students and graduates focusing on professional development, career exploration, coaching, and professional networking. Impact Gen's 5th cohort will be from March 11, 2024, to May 10th, 2024..
Career Mentor Opportunity which is as follows: An 8-week commitment requiring mentors to meet with mentees for 1hr once a week. The mentorship will start on March 11, 2024 through May 11th, 2024.
1 hr per week for 8 weeks - 8 hour commitment
In person or Remote based on availability
LOCAL PROFESSIONALS IN SAN FRANCISCO/ BAY AREA to help build networking pipelines for junior and senior college students and/or recent graduates.
Provide guidance, motivation, emotional support, and role modeling. A mentor may help with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts, and identifying resources.

Description
Founded in 1972, Mission Graduates provides a wide range of afterschool, in-school, and summer programs helping to establish college education as an expectation and goal for every child. Each year, Mission Graduates reaches over 3,600 low-income children, youth, and families in San Francisco, emphasizing college as a means to achieve economic equity and strengthen the fabric of our community.
