Do something for yourself while doing something wonderful for others!!

The Austin Steam Train Association is looking for car attendants to meet and greet passengers on our train excursions Saturdays and Sundays into the Hill Country.

We welcome volunteers from every background to spend one Saturday or Sunday a month (or more) visiting with our out of town guests on the train.

Training is easy, the work is vital, and the experience is energizing!

As a car attendant in On Board Services, you'll help passengers find their seats and settle in for an enjoyable escape to the countryside. For the leisurely ride you'll have many opportunities to point out historic landmarks along the line and talk about the history of central Texas railroads. Because our little railroad is world famous, our volunteers are constantly meeting interesting travelers from around the globe!

To get started, email volunteers@austinsteamtrain.org to sign up!
