Senior Companion Program
Serving with Compassion, Caring as Friends

Senior Companions create ongoing relationships with elders who are frail and isolated and serve throughout the state of MN. Companions provide reliable and ongoing companionship or respite service by visiting with their clients, providing transportation to a doctor's appointment or on errands with the client and generally offering encouragement and support.

Volunteers who commit to at least 10 hours of service per week, qualify for a non-taxable stipend of $2.65 per hour. Transportation reimbursement and stipended time off are also available.
