Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls is a virtual activities program for older adults across the country. We offer social and educational sessions by phone and video.

We're looking for volunteers to facilitate our 30-minute COFFEE TALK session on Wednesdays at 10:30 am - 11:00 am Central Standard Time (CST). The time commitment is about an hour, from 10:15 am-11:15 am CST to account for pre and post-session tasks. If every Wednesday is too much of a commitment, we can create a rotational schedule.

Coffee Talk is a conversational session. As the facilitator, you will lead the conversation and have things planned to discuss, e.g., current events (staying away from politics and other heated topics, of course), trivia, fun facts - you name it. Often times, the participants lead the conversation, despite what you've planned! The goal of the session is to have friendly conversation and increase social connectivity.

While this volunteer opportunity is virtual, you must live in the U.S.
Phone, computer, and internet connection is required, along with a positive attitude and fun energy that transfers well over the phone to older adults. Training and ongoing support provided.

Thanks for considering this opportunity!
