Volunteer drivers and/or visitors are needed to deliver meals to area senior citizens homes, 1 day per week to 6-8 clients following an assigned, mapped route, from 11:15am - 12:30 pm.
Kitchen volunteers are also needed mornings to help prepare meals for delivery and/or wash dishes.

Volunteers make a difference!
AmeriCorps Seniors of Steuben County provides opportunities for people ages 55 and over to make a significant impact in their communities through volunteering. Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few hours a month to over 40 hours a week serving in their communities. Opportunities to serve include volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, schools, food pantries, public safety programs, and other nonprofit agencies and organizations. RSVP staff assist volunteers in sharing their experience, abilities and skills for the betterment of the community and themselves. Volunteer orientation, on-site training, supplemental insurance (while on duty), and mileage reimbursement are free services available for RSVP volunteers.
