People’s Resource Center needs Computer Service Representatives (CSR) to assist in our computer training center. You would be helping clients register for free classes and free computers in our computer training center, and administering placement exams for clients interested in our advanced computer classes. You would be our first point of contact for clients entering the Computer Program. There is a high need for both regular participants and substitutes.
Requirements:
-Intermediate level of computer literacy
-Familiarity with Microsoft applications, and we will train you in Access
-Comfortable working in a customer service role
-Ability to commit to volunteering for a 2-hour daytime shift on a weekly basis.
-Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds
The opportunity is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, both morning and afternoons; and Saturday mornings.

Since 1975, People’s Resource Center has been bringing neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty in DuPage County. With a team of over 1,500 volunteers, we offer nutritious food and other basic necessities like clothes and rent assistance for people facing tough times. And we connect people with resources--education and tutoring, jobs, technology, art, a caring community--to create a future of hope and opportunity for all.
Volunteer at PRC: Help in the food pantry or clothes closet, become a tutor, teach a class, organize a food drive, make a difference to a neighbor in need.
