Everyone feels better when they look nice and our patients are no exception. Be the one who makes a difference! As a hairstylist you can do something no one else can do. You can provide comfort, boost confidence and enhance a sense of self-worth by cutting and styling the hair of our patients and their families. We have opportunities for licensed stylists to volunteer in patient's homes cutting and styling their hair.
Founded in 1976, TRU Community Care is one of the oldest hospice providers in the country. Volunteers have always been an integral part of our excellent patient care team.

Description
We were founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976 to provide expert medical, emotional, and spiritual care to terminally ill people and their families.
As Colorado's first hospice, we have long set the standard for care of those with advanced illness in our region. And we continue to lead the way today, with innovative programs that honor the choices, preserve the dignity and address the individual needs of the patients and families we are privileged to serve.
As a nonprofit, community effort, we provide our hospice care for everyone who needs us, regardless of ability to pay. With a focus on providing a continuum of care for members of our community living with advanced illness and loss, TRU’s programs include TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, Landmark Memory Care, and TRU Grief Services.
