Description
The Girls Inc Program offers after-school and evening programs to girls in grades 5 through 8 who live within two miles of the Center. Food and transportation are provided to the girls. Each day of the week, a different program is offered for each grade level.
The program includes a leadership group girls council and focus areas include: career exploration, leadership skills, decision-making, healthy life choices, recreation, community service and school commitment.
Volunteers needed to help the girls organize community service projects and offer their experience in the focus areas.
Skills
Must pass criminal background check and willingness to drive a 15 passenger van preferred. Clean driving record required.
