ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley

Share your love of basketball by coaching members at the MLB/AZ Dbacks Branch-Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix playing in the Jr. Phoenix Suns League.

Commitment: January - March 2016, two hours per week, early evening hours, Monday-Friday (no weekends). Practice and game times vary by division.

  • Cadets (10-12 yrs)
  • Rookies (7-9 yrs)
  • Biddy Ball (5-6 yrs)
Practice sessions held at the MLB/AZ Dbacks club in South Phoenix. Games played at various BGCMP locations in the metropolitan Phoenix & West Valley areas.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) provides premier out-of-school-time programs for youth to develop their skills and resilience to successfully navigate childhood, and prepare for adulthood. We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for 16,000 young people in grades K-12. At 31 clubs across Maricopa County, areas of Pinal County, and Yuma, BGCAZ provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success, Character & Leadership Development, Healthy Living, and career readiness.
