Kentucky Horse Park
Volunteer grooming "Bubbles" in the Horses of the World barn.

Volunteers help with general stable duties such as washing, mucking, grooming, tack preparation, harnessing, horse rotation, "meet and greet" pony walks, daily show assistance and more!

There are opportunities to help in the Breeds Barn with over 35 different breeds, the Big Barn with draft horses, Kids' Barn with educational activities and in the Hall of Champions with our famous residents like Funny Cide and Go for Gin!

The purpose of the Kentucky Horse Park is to provide a quality informational, recreational and educational experience, with the horse as its theme, for Kentuckians and visitors from throughout the world.

As the only Park in the world dedicated to the horse, we offer visitors a chance to see a variety of breeds of horses in their daily routines, against a background of an immaculately kept Kentucky Horse Farm.The Kentucky Horse Park was formed in 1978 and the Volunteer program initiated in 2000.
