Volunteers will help pack shelf stable food components into grab & go boxes at our warehouse. These boxes are distributed to kids under 18 across the state of Ohio at our meal sites and with our many partners! This is part of CHA's Weekend Meal program one of 7 program that support food access for children across the state of Ohio.
Location is indoors and shifts are select weekday afternoons, 2hour signups. No evenings or weekends available. Most work is completed while standing.

Reach out if you would like to host a group. Our warehouse can manage up to 12 volunteers maximum per 2-hour shift on weekday afternoons. Sorry we are not open evenings or weekends. Contact awilson@childrenshungeralliance.org for information on bringing your group <12 to volunteer.

Our mission is to ensure that children without access receive healthy food, nutrition education and physical activity.
Description
We partner with organizations throughout Ohio to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children who need them most. We help day care providers, day care centers, local school districts and afterschool and summer programs provide balanced, healthy meals to children in their care. Our team of educators also deliver nutrition education and lead children in physical activities to provide a balanced approach to childhood health.
Children’s Hunger Alliance has a team of 50 professionals throughout the state who are passionate about ending childhood hunger in Ohio’s 88 counties. Our home office is in Columbus, Ohio with regional offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Toledo.
