Help your community--be a Foster Grandparent!
This stipended program funded by the Corporation for National Services provides low-income seniors with the opportunity to volunteer in schools and pre-elementary daycares . The KY State Foster Grandparent Program has vacancies in Caldwell, Hopkins and Christian Counties in Kentucky.
Income eligible seniors aged 55 years or older can receive a stipend of $2.65 hourly(which will not affect your social security), insurance, meals, transportation, physicals and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of children in your community. Commit to volunteer 20-40 hours weekly to enrich your daily life while making a measurable impact in your community.
