There's no secret to the success of the Gardens' Holiday Lights Display that draws thousands of visitors to the botanical garden each year- it's our volunteers! Without their selfless dedication, all the pomp and circumstance of the holiday would fizzle like Clark's Christmas lights in the popular holiday movie, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Thanks to over 100 volunteers who donated thousands hours to the preparation and implementation of the dazzling display last year, the Gardens' generated lots of positive publicity- word-of-mouth buzz that lured spectators from across the Natural State and beyond with its warm, fuzzy feelings of family fun.

You can spread holiday joy this year by volunteering to help present the 2017 display. There are plenty of jobs for everyone and every schedule- whether you have an hour, day or week to spare. Assist in stringing lights throughout the Gardens, or lend your talents to repairing and painting light frames like our candy canes and toy soldiers. You choose the job you want.

There are several opportunities for volunteering once the display is open to the public too- from greeting guests in the Welcome Center, and driving golf cart tours, to serving hot chocolate.
