Hello!
After 14 spookatular years of fright filled evenings, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo has redesigned our previous Halloween event, Zoo Boo, which was geared more towards ages 12 and up. We will now be hosting a kooky not spooky event for ages 3 to 11 called ZooBoo KIDS. We would love to have your assistance with this year’s first ever ZooBoo KIDS event. We currently have a need for volunteers for the evenings of Oct. 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, 17 th, 18 th, 23 rd, 24 th, 25 th, 26 th, 30 th, 31 st, and Nov. 1 st.
Event volunteers arrive at 11:45 a.m. to check in and work until 7 p.m. Event volunteers get to help with our Halloween mazes, games, our rides and more!
Sign up alone, with a group, or with friends! Please hurry- volunteer spots are filling up quickly!
ZooBoo KIDs will run at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo on the following dates:
ZooBoo KIDS MEdia Night on October 9, 2015.
October 10 th, 11 th, 17 th, 18 th, 23 rd, 24 th, 25 th, 26 th, 30 th, 31 st, 2015.
November 1 st, 2015.

An independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to providing exemplary programs in education, recreation, conservation and research to benefit the general public and to enhance the quality of life in Tampa Bay. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo also exists as a center for conservation of endangered wildlife both locally and around the globe.
Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
The Zoo’s primary objectives are:
- To be widely accessible to our diverse community,
- To play an active role in conservation and environmental issues affecting animals and habitats throughout Florida and the world,
- To be an educational resource for our community, and
- To provide a safe and exciting attraction for families and guests.
