Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha has been matching adult mentors with children from the Neenah-Menasha school districts for a special one-on-one friendship for 40 years. Our staff provides support to the families and mentors, and offers a variety of activities for our matches and the children who are waiting for a mentor. Volunteers live or work in Neenah, Menasha, Appleton, Oshkosh, and other surrounding Fox Valley communities. YOU can make a big difference in a child's life...Just by being you.

MENTORING PROGRAMS
Community-Based Mentoring - An individual, couple, or family can mentor a child in their community for a few hours each week. Day and time varies to fit your schedule.
Lunch Mentoring (during school year)- Mentor a child for one lunch hour per week. Elementary - on campus; middle and high schools - off campus optional.
After-School Mentoring (during school year) - Mentor a child for one hour per week after school from 3:30-4:30. Meet in a group setting with planned activities at a local location.
Guy Stuff Mentoring - Mentor a young male once a month at a pre-planned activity. (bowling, archery, climbing wall, fishing, games room and more).
SHARE Mentoring - Mentor a middle or high school student once a month. Menotrs will share their experiences and resources to help students visualize opportunities for the future.
Activity sponsors - Your business, church, or community group can sponsor an activity for matches or children waiting for a Best Friend mentor.
Quarry Quest - facepainting or other miscellaneous volunteer opportunities.
