Help older adults live as independently and safely as possible in their own homes by offering assistance and companionship. Friend advocates can assist with reading mail, bill paying, filing paperwork and obtaining public benefits and access to community services. All volunteers receive training and ongoing supervision and support from professional Friend Advocate staff.

Description
Jewish Family Service provides a full range of services to strengthen and restore families. Services include individual, family, and children's services; elder care services; family life education; adoption services; volunteer services; chronic illness and developmental disabilities programs; domestic violence response; school-based services, Jewish Resource Line; and resettlement and citizenship.
