The Tempe Community Action Agency Home Delivered Meal program needs assistance Monday -Friday mornings packing meals for delivery between 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
Volunteers would assist in packing hot meals to be delivered to seniors and those with disabilities who are otherwise unable to obtain food. Volunteers are required to have a current Food Handler's Card and assistance is available in gaining one.

Description
TCAA is Tempe's primary "safety net", providing basic needs and emergency assistance for low income and elderly community members, while encouraging self-reliance. The Community Action Program provides rent / utility assistance, food boxes, career services, cooking on a budget, community garden, homeless prevention, and pre-natal services. The Senior Action Program provides social activities, congregate meals, and home delivered meals.
