Multiple opportunities abound for volunteers on our picturesque 30-acre site on Little Sarasota Bay. Historic Spanish Point, located in Osprey FL, boasts 5,000 years of human history. Our Visitor's Center and Entrance Cottage are only two of many opportunities. These locations are for greeting guests, ticket sales, operating the museum store, and answering the phone. Other opportunities include but are not limited to: Docent led guided tours, Docent led tram tours, Docents for children's educational tours and progams, Grounds keepers, Maritime program boat builders, Curatorial assistants, Fundraising and Marketing gurus, Speakers Bureau, Special Event help, and more! Description
Historic Spanish Point is a 30 acre environmental, archaeological and historic site. Over 5000 years of history are interpreted through guided tours, video presentations, and exhibitions.
