The Elder Network Friendly Visitor Program is seeking male and female volunteers. Families or individuals generally spend an hour once per week visiting with a senior who may have limited social contacts. You can also share a hobby, take in a movie, go for a drive participate in community events, etc. These chats/outings can be the highlight of a senior's week! Your effort to take time for them as an individual means the world. Because of the flexibility of this program, it is a great opportunity for working people and for families to help others.
