The Elder Network Friendly Visitor Program is seeking male and female volunteers. Families or individuals generally spend an hour once per week visiting with a senior who may have limited social contacts. You can also share a hobby, take in a movie, go for a drive participate in community events, etc. These chats/outings can be the highlight of a senior's week! Your effort to take time for them as an individual means the world. Because of the flexibility of this program, it is a great opportunity for working people and for families to help others.

Elder Network is a non-profit organization serving older adults and their caregivers since 1988. We serve Olmsted, Winona and Wabasha counties. Our programs include peer support, visiting, companion and respite care, senior advocacy, transportation to medical related appointments, educational workshops and support groups..
