We have two immediate needs in the community.
The first opportunity is for a volunteer (or two) to greet visitors, answer the phone and assist with other office duties on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Location is in the Asheville area.
Secondly, would you like to be a "Director of First Impressions?" MANNA, in Buncombe County, needs volunteers to answer the telephone and greet clients and visitors as they arrive. Hours are flexible, Monday through Friday.
Other office volunteer opportunities are available throughout the region.

Want to volunteer but don't know how to get started? Call the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) at the Land-of-Sky Regional Council. We are the volunteer center for older adults age 55 or better. We serve the counties of Henderson, Transylvania, Buncombe and Madison and are here to help you match your skills and talents to rewarding volunteer opportunities. Working with over 100 non-profit agencies we offer over 400 opportunities; if we don't have something that interests you we will do our best to find that opportunity for you! Volunteer as much as you like and take advantage of our fun recognition events and complimentary theatre tickets to expand your social calendar along with many lifelong learning opportunities through educational workshops.
