"Caring, comfort, compassion, and conversation."

The Hospital Visitors Program with Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is an ongoing commitment. You will be given a block of time to volunteer each week (you will stay on the same day/time for every week). Normally volunteer hours are no more than 3 hours p/week Volunteer hours are during the weekdays in the evening and daytime on weekends. Time off is acceptable, but we prefer to have volunteers in this role that will provide consistent, and dedicated service for this highly important role. Our hospital visitors simply act as a compassionate person who is willing to visit with patients who may not have any family or friends visiting them .

Training for all of our opportunities is done in house, so no prior experience is necessary. We are able to offer childcare and mileage reimbursements while you volunteer. We have many great opportunities to build your resume, meet new people, have fun, feel appreciated, and give back to the community! We'd love to tell you more, so don't hesitate to reach out to us today!
