Each community within Miami-Dade County has a team of dedicated adult volunteers Service Unit) that carries out the Mission of Girl Scouting in a key volunteer role, as he/she develops, extends and maintains girl and adult Girl Scout Membership within the community, ensuring the delivery of programs and services to all girls within the unit, through an effective volunteer management system (Service Team) and positive community relations.
We are looking for dynamic community leaders to organize and support area volunteer troop leaders so that Girl Scouting can be extended to all girls. Some duties may include assisting with recruitment events, working with other team members to coordinate the various area activities.
The Service Unit Manager is a great way to work with other volunteers to bring Girl Scout program to area girls.
