Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not enrolling volunteers in the site-based program at this time. You can still inquiry for the program and once the site-based locations have reopened we will contact you to get enrolled.

Program Details: Think about the person in your childhood who shared new experiences and ideas with you. Regardless of who that person was, they introduced some magic into your world and your eyes opened like wildflowers! Big Brother and Big Sister volunteer mentors do just that --- they turn little bits of magic into big moments in a child's life. Carefully screened Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers are matched with children based on similar interests and hobbies. The Bigs and Littles meet for one or two hours on a regular basis to share new experiences as well as have fun! Some of the activities that they enjoy include playing games, sports, working on school projects, and of course, talking! Site-based mentoring takes place at the following locations: Boys & Girls Club in Cathedral City, Indio, La Quinta, Coachella and Mecca.
