We are looking for individuals 55 years of age or older, who are interested in serving at local non-profit organizations such as; food banks, shelters, senior centers, wildlife centers, historical museums, schools and more.
You must be willing to serve at least 2 hour a month and have transportation.
The program has Volunteer insurance and mileage reimbursement.

Mission Statement
Provide senior citizens with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Description
Provide senior citizens 55 years and older with the opportunity to work with struggling children. Foster Grandparents work with children in Elementary Schools, Boys and Girls Clubs and other community organizations helping improve literacy skills. For their service the Foster Grandparent receives a tax free stipend. This stipend does not affect any other services the senior might already be using... such as low income housing, food stamps, Social Security..etc
