Are you looking for a fun and engaging creative activity this winter? Apply today to become a Creative Companion volunteer with RSVP!

Creative Companion volunteers receive a Creative Care Kit which includes activities, materials, and resources for engaging in skills-based art projects. Volunteers then reach out to 2-4 other kit recipients to help encourage them to engage in the activities, share stories of their work, and support ongoing practice through communication over time. The goal is to develop a regular creative practice while connecting with other kit recipients to help reduce social isolation.

Central Vermont Council on Aging (CVCOA) supports elders and family caregivers to lead healthy, meaningful and dignified lives in their homes and communities. Programs and services include: information and assistance (I&A) and options counseling, health insurance counseling, nutrition and wellness programs, transportation, family caregiver support, and volunteer services, including Senior Companion and RSVP.
