Calling all large volunteer groups, college students needing hours, or individuals wanting to make a difference!
Family Futures is making sure that children in Kent County going into Kindergarten are prepared with kits filled with supplies and other resources to help the children and families thrive. We need your help in delivering 600 learning kits.
This volunteer opportunity requires background checks which we will complete now, so when the kits are ready for distribution, we can let volunteers know. You will use your own car to drop off learning kits to kids homes. There will be no contact with the families. Deliveries are anticipated to start early April through early June.
Delivery of kits need to occur within a 1 week time and can happen on weekend and after 5pm to accommodate working schedules, so there is flexibility. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to give back to their community. Each volunteer will be assigned a route that will take about 1.5-2 hrs to complete.
For this opportunity we do require background checks which we would like volunteers to start as soon as possible, there is also no cost associated with these background checks. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out, lnguyen@familyfutures.org.
