Free laboratory-quality pregnancy tests Information on pregnancy, abortion and alternatives
Sexually Transmitted Disease Education Information on RU486 and the morning after pill.
Friendship and emotional support
Assistance in obtaining pre-natal care
Referrals to community resources and agencies Parenting classes
Information on abstinence
Layettes, formula, diapers and furniture
Pre-abortion education
Post-abortion care and education
24-hour helplines

Volunteer will answer phone, give pregnancy tests, provide counseling as needed, make referrals as needed, offer items such as diapers, clothing etc. as needed and other office duties.

Terms: Car Required - Must Provide Own Transportation, Volunteer must be at least 55 years of age

Other Information Requested of Volunteers: References/background check/safe driving record

Join other Butler County RSVP members in providing volunteer services that contribute to a better quality of life for our entire community! RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute as many hours as they chose, serving through RSVP projects sites and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
