Each day, a senior in your community depends on a meal and looks forward to a friendly visit. Volunteers with Meals on Wheels - a program of the Local Office on Aging (LOA) - deliver a hot, nutritious lunch to home-bound seniors, along with an informal check on their safety and wellbeing. Delivery routes take only 1 to 1 1/2 hours daily, and Meals on Wheels offer flexibility. You choose the route and days you wish to deliver. You can volunteer once a week, every other week, once month, or once a year! Let us know if you are interested!

RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provides older Americans the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting community needs.
Description
RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. Among other activities, they deliver meals to homebound seniors, help prepare their community for times of disaster, and lend their business skills to community groups that provide critical social services.
