Provide transportation to seniors and disabled
The Volunteer Transportation Services program provides rides for seniors and the disabled who are ambulatory but unable to use public or other transportation services because of age or impairment. Volunteers use their own cars to transport seniors/disabled to doctor's appointments, grocery stores, hospitals, and treatment centers or wherever they may need to go.
Volunteers will be called on an on-going basis to provide transportation to clients. Volunteers could give 1 hour a month or 1 hour a week. VERY FLEXIBLE. Volunteers must have a car and auto insurance. We are especially in need of volunteers west of I-94, who can service those clients living out in the county. Mileage reimbursement is $.42 cents per mile.

RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
