Volunteers to help in the infant room.
The University Child Care Center offers quality childcare to students, faculty and staff of Black Hills State University. Children enrolled in the program are given a fun, safe and stimulating environment.
The infant program part of the Child Care Center provides care to the child age one year and below. There are usually 5 infants to one caregiver. The volunteers assist by rocking the infants, bottle feeding and by giving individual attention and loving care to the infants on a one to one basis. (No diaper changing)
Terms: Volunteer must be at least 55 years of age

MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
