Transportation for older adults to their vital medical appointments is a critical need of Central Ohio residents.Volunteers are needed to assist Volunteer Drivers who transport clients.

CTP Driver Assistant will:

• Travel with driver to assist with navigation and following directions.
• Assist clients in and out of vehicle at pick up and drop off locations.
• Communicate with Dispatcher to help with navigation and client appointment schedules.
• If qualified, Driver Assistant may elect to split driving duties with Volunteer Driver.

• * Excellent Customer service skills * Good verbal and written communication skills * Ability to positively interact with older adults, persons with disabilities, and other medically fragile clients * Knowledge of local streets * Ability to read map and follow directions * Willingness to learn all facets of transportation program
