Are you a people person? Do you enjoy results-driven tasks?
The San Diego River Park Foundation is seeking office volunteers to support their ongoing operations. These amazing volunteers help create a better future for the San Diego River by helping SDRPF staff and volunteers with tasks such as:
- prepping supplies
- data entering volunteer information
- answering phones
- sending emails
- greeting guests
Front desk volunteers should have strong organizational and customer service skills. Work will mostly be seated and indoors. Computer -savvy volunteers preferred. Weekend shifts available. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to a long-term ongoing role (weekly or bi-weekly). This opportunity does not offer community service hours.

Mission Statement
The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
