  • 25 people are interested

Patients on hospice look forward to pet therapy visits because at times they feel lonely and isolated. Your visits will be uplifting and help to make the patient feel special, important, comforted and most of all loved. Dogs, cats, mini horses and other animals welcomed. Each volunteer must attend a volunteer training class specific to Hospice, pass a drug screening, background check and TB test. Hep B vaccinations are offered but optional. Pets must have all required certifications, insurance and up to date vaccinations.
