We have offered podiatry at our free clinic since 2016 It is so beneficial for all our patients and especially diabetics. It is an integral part of our diabetic care which includes a diabetes educator and dietitian.
Our Volunteer Podiatrist can select a specific clinic time that meets with his/her schedule. All of our patients are scheduled on a regular basis and have an internal referral.
Volunteers in Medicine has been caring for the residents of the East region for 14 years with over 100 volunteers who dedicate their time, energy and expertise to be the safety net for the uninsured.

Description
We are a free medical clinic that provides no-cost healthcare to uninsured San Diego residents. Volunteers in Medicine (VIM), located in East County, has been making a positive difference in people's lives since 2006. Our free medical services would not be possible without the passion, talent and expertise of our dedicated volunteers who are comprised of practicing/retired physicians, registered nurses, and support staff.
