We are recruiting musicians, performers, yoga instructors, and other creative individuals living or working in Park Slope, Brooklyn and the greater New York metropolitan area to come and preform for, or teach the patients of our hospital. The purpose of the SPARKS OF LIFE program is to exercise patients' minds and bodies, provide experiences they can enjoy, and improve their quality of life. It is our hope to bring a little joy to their day.
Sparks of Life has built in flexibility with regard to scheduling. One can volunteer once a year, several times during the year, once a month, or on a more regular basis.
