Three Rivers Park District hosts a number of teen leadership crews such as the Silverwood Teen Arts Council, Counsellors in Training, and more! Each crew supports a different topic or park/geography.
From caring for animals to helping with day camps to learning about art and nature, volunteering in the parks will help you gain leadership skills, life skills, and job skills! Plus, you might just have fun while you're at it.
The crews are generally open to those age 12-19 (each crew has it's own requirements). Training included.

About Three Rivers Park District

Mission Statement
The mission of Three Rivers Park District is to promote environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources-based park system.
Description
Volunteers help to make the Park District a fun, safe, educational environment for people of all ages, interests and abilities. Volunteers may be involved with nature, cultural history, recreation and farm programs; site enhancement; events; golf course; public safety; and, natural resources management.
