One Saturday morning a month between 9-11:30 a.m. at our Delmont warehouse we pack the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) senior food boxes. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to participate. 2019 Dates: July 20, Aug 17, 2019.
This is an assembly line type packing. Duties include: filling food boxes with food items, inserting nutrition newsletter, stacking food boxes, breaking down boxes, clean up. Individuals and groups welcome.

Description
The Westmoreland County Food Bank is a private, not-for profit organization that supplies food to hungry people through a network of assistance programs in Westmoreland County. Our 40,000 square foot facility is located in Delmont. We serve over 7,000 disadvantaged families each month through our network of 44 pantries and 20 agencies throughout Westmoreland County. We utilize approximately 6500 total volunteers a year to help us with our mission.
