70% of our clients live alone--when one of our drivers delivers their food, that may be the only person they see all week. Make a friend and bring company to an isolated San Francisco senior! Take walks, go out for coffee, listen, read together, tell stories and enjoy each other's company. Time and dates are flexible. We try to match you with someone right in your neighborhood. Six month commitment of at least an hour every other week is required.

Requirements
We send volunteers into the homes of our vulnerable seniors, so background check and good references are needed for successful applicants. Three hour training gets you ready for your volunteering! Ongoing and regular communication with the Volunteer Director is essential.
