We have an opportunity for volunteers who love books, reading and people. Come join us! We run our BookCellar bookstore seven days a week when the library is opened. Join the Friends of the Library and help raise funds for the SA Public Libraries. The four hours a week are so much fun that time passed by so quickly. We shelf books, help customers find books they are looking for and sort the donations we receive. You will get your books for half price, free parking and meet great new people.

Mission Statement
The Book Cellar is a Used Book Store run by the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library. Our mission is to sell books withdrawn from the Library in addition to books donated to us. The money obtained from these sales is donated to Library for their activities and programs. In a similar way we sell Library withdrawn and donated CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, audio materials and magazines.
Description
We are a Boiok Store open 7 days a week to sell the materials described above. From Friday-Wednesday we are open 11am-3pm. On Thursday we are open 11am - 7 pm.
